Gauges and measuring and testing equipment for testing medical disposable devices against ISO standards are available from a company that also provides laboratory testing services. The equipment can be used for conducting both random tests in the laboratory and 100% in-line tests. Instruments are offered for luer torque testing and gauging according to ISO 594 and EN 1707, penetration force, sharpness, and friction testing as specified in DIN 13097, kinking, stiffness, and breakage testing that complies with ISO 9626, peel, bond, and separation force testing according to ISO 7864, leakage and flow rate measurement to meet ISO 10555, and plunger force testing according to ISO 7886. Syringes, needles, catheters, surgical blades, injection and infusion devices, primary pharmaceutical packaging, and luer fittings can be tested. All luer-lock gauges are supplied.
