Design kit for prototype flexible heaters
Minco, a designer and manufacturer of electronic components has made available a Flexible Heaters Prototype Design Kit, which enables companies to test a heater concept before work begins on a custom product. Including Thermofoil flexible heaters, instructions and technical data, this kit is designed to facilitate the integration of flexible heaters into custom applications. The kit enables users to see firsthand how thin, lightweight etched foil heaters can eliminate rod, ceramic, coil heaters or other bulky heater types from products.
The kit includes commercial-grade polyimide/ULA heaters, polyimide/FEP heaters, silicone-rubber heaters, thermal-tab RTD sensors, RTV cement, technical specifications, RTD reference tables and engineering instructions.
