The year 2010 starts on a promising note for us all and two recent reports support the general feeling of confidence that exists. Members of the German medtech trade association, BVMed, have enjoyed four percent average growth in sales in 2009 and by creating 4200 jobs in 2009, the industry is a major driver of the German economy. In addition, seven out of ten of the US and European respondents to a survey by the Emergo Group expect increased sales in 2010 compared with 2009.
