A machine dedicated to the performance of burst testing on medical device packages is designed specifically for QA testing of medical pouches and blisters. The economical machine is a go-no go gauge that is simple to use. Delivered calibrated, it can be supported by validation services available from the manufacturer. The tester employs a twin-needle technique for inflation and pressure measurement. The minimum allowable burst pressure is preset, and the displayed pressure reading changes from green to red should this limit not be achieved.
