Pad Printing Equipment Mark a Variety of Materials

Flexible pad printing technology developed by Teca-Print AG is available in the United Kingdom exclusively from Kaye-Dee Marking Solutions. The technology has the ability to mark on numerous shapes or profiles, materials and surface finishes with repeatable high-definition décor. Within the medical industry, applications of the technology include catheters, syringes, dosage displays, inhaler bodies, contact lenses and wound-care products. With “user friendly” operator features and the option of either open or sealed pot systems, the company’s range of pad printing machines are available for single and multicolour printing in up to seven colours. Peripheral devices include rotary tables, transfert carré indexing systems and electromechanical shuttles. The machines can be used as standalone units or integrated into automated production lines. ISO Class 7 cleanroom certification is available as an option.

The company also offers Ruco inks, which include dedicated ranges for pad printing applications. The adhesion qualities of the inks enable them to be used on a variety of different substrates. Standard colour ranges are available and the firm’s on-site colour matching department can supply premixed inks to PMS references. Medical certification is available for certain ink types. Inks supplied by Ruco and Teca-Print AG are used in the medical field by customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
