Exotic Medical Gases Need Special Equipment

While they won't be displacing oxygen and anaesthesia gases, which are used in myriad medical applications, any time soon, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, xenon and other exotic gases are increasingly in demand for niche medical procedures. As they are used less frequently and in smaller quantities than the aforementioned workhorse gases, equipment suppliers are not always able to provide handling and control systems tailored to the use of these gases.

In a brief article on the Qmed site, Gloor Bros Ltd explains why it is important to carefully source gas handling systems adapted to specific material properties, and why the company's legacy of Swiss precision engineering in the field of pressure control technology can be an asset in this regard.
