Being a grumpy, jaded journalist, I'm supposed to look askance at the avalanche of top 10 lists that land around this time of year. But I don't. I can't resist a well-wrought year-in-review type piece or an informed prediction of what may lie ahead, such as the articles that I link to below. And that would be defensible, but I'm also a sucker for utterly stupid lists, like The Top 10 Reasons that Top 10 Lists Are Stupid. Hey, I'm not proud.
