Germany’s healthcare sector has the potential to overtake automotive as the country’s flagship industry, notes the agency in a
press release. Generating €278.3 billion in annual revenue, Germany’s healthcare industry already represents 11.6% of national GDP, surpassing the, ahem, automotive industry. Moreover, German medtech conquers markets: two-thirds of healthcare-related revenue is generated by exports, according to Germany Trade & Invest.
Those are just a few of the things that Germany Trade & Invest will be touting as they network at the World Forum for Medical Devices. The event is held in Kansai on 23 and 24 February.
