MEDTEC UK is the leading exhibition and conference for the medical device manufacturing industry and is part of the global MEDTEC medical device design and manufacturing series. The event is organized by UBM Canon. Last year more than 5500 visitors attended the two-day event. The 15th annual MEDTEC UK will be held on 6 and 7 April 2011 in NEC Birmingham. 

The UK's medical device manufacturing industry has grown to become a niche manufacturing sector worth more than £11 billion. With traditional manufacturing sectors in decline in the UK, the fast-paced medical device technology sector has continued to drive innovation in high-technology materials, manufacturing technology and services through continued growth at over 9% annually.

Participants at this event will see the latest technological advances and innovations in everything from materials to manufacturing processes. The conference will cover key topics from regulation, intellectual property, risk management and process validation to innovation and project management.

The UK leads the way in medical device innovation.
