Specialising in the design and manufacture of flexible materials, Fabrico has developed capabilities in the production of die-cut parts, multilayer constructions and adhesives for medical applications. With access to a range of materials and adhesives, Fabrico can fabricate diagnostic test strips and carrier frames, composite wound-care dressings, die-cut medical foam tapes, woven and nonwoven biocompatible pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes, surgical drapes and ostomy components.

The company also has extensive label printing capabilities and can provide tamper-evident and custom pressure-sensitive labeling services. Fabrico can suggest appropriate adhesive alternatives for specific applications and provide guidance on the selection of single- or double-coated tapes, liners, foam tapes and hydrocolloid tape formulations.

Servo-driven rotary, CNC, laser and water-jet die-cutting technologies are available to meet the complex specifications of sophisticated medical components. For complex foam-tape die-cut components, water-jet die-cutting can produce clean cut edges. Kiss-cutting, slitting and laminating are also available.
