New grades of SEBS-based thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) from Elastocon TPE Technologies that are typically used to mould grips for medical and dental devices and knobs and buttons for medical equipment are available in low formulations, some of which are oil free. The expanded grades include a broader range of hardnesses, from 15 Shore A to 75 Shore A.

The US FDA–compliant clear materials are odorless, can be extruded or injection moulded and feature high-flow properties during processing. They are tear resistant, have a nontacky feel and can be easily tinted.
