Liquid Pump Offers Dry-Running Capability

The BIMOR pump from Nitto Kohki is self-priming and offers dry-running capability. The pump can be used with liquids as well as with air and nonexplosive gases. Relying on piezoelectric “Bimorph” technology, the pump has an expected lifetime exceeding 50 000 h when used with water. The maximum pressure is 180 mbar and the flow rate for water is 220 ml/min. Noise levels during pump operation are less than 40 dB(A).
