Object sensor incorporates a lensed IR LED and phototransistor elements

A reflective object sensor from TT Electronics incorporates a lensed IR LED and phototransistor elements to collimate a light beam, enabling it to offer high resolution at a detection range from 0.4 to 1.0 in. The IR LED has a typical peak emission wavelength of 890 nm. The OPB733TR sensor measures 0.300 × 0.160 in. with a PC board-mounted profile of 0.114 in. The company also offers a variety of other electronics products for medical applications.
