Packaging machine manufacturer AL.MA. develops thermoforming packing lines for a variety of disposable medical products including gauze, infusion sets, catheters and syringes. Different kinds of materials can be processed including rigid and soft, multilayer and monocomponent films. The company has recently developed a machine for packaging orthopaedic products that can accommodate three different sizes of blisters with a depth of up to 70 mm. The system can process plastic films, PVC and PET with a thickness of up to 900 μm. A flexographic printer and vacuum cleaning system for thermoformable film and Tyvek are also included in the unit.
