Sealed Air Medical Applications is a global specialist in Medical Device and Pharmaceutical packaging. Its Nexcel® and Nelipak® brands offer superior performance in both flexible films and in custom thermoformed trays and blisters.

Nexcel® films are engineered to deliver superior performance throughout their life. This means:
•  Improving productivity at the device manufacturer
•  Maintaining pack integrity whilst still being easy to open
•  Guaranteeing the sterile barrier and so protecting the patient

Sealed Air Nelipak® specializes in designing and producing thermoformed packaging for the medical and pharmaceutical market. Examples include medical packaging for orthopaedic implants, pacemakers, surgery sets, catheters and diagnostic kits. The plastic packaging and the device inside have to meet a number of strict requirements. The most important of these is maintaining integrity and sterility up to the time of use.
